Congratulations Egypt on your newly elected President Mohamed Morsi. He seems like the candidate that is the people's choice.. Egyptians went crazy after learning Mohamed Morsi had won the Presidency. So congratulation.. It is always the people choice and when it is clearly what the people wants then Democracy has won.. After one and a half years of political turmoil and protest after protest.. the transition period under the military rule.. The Egyptians has clearly worked hard and truly deserve this win.. again Congratulation to the people of Egypt this time it is your win. Now let's bring true democracy to the rest of the world..

Some facts of the people's choice Mohamed Morsi: 

1) He was imprisonned by Mubarak at the start of the revolution.
2) He lives in a rented flat in Cairo but originally from Sharqya.
3) He received a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in engineering from Cairo University in 1975 and 1978, respectively. 
4) He received his Ph.D. in engineering from the University of Southern California in 1982. 
5) He was an Assistant Professor at California State University, Northridge from 1982 to 1985.
6) In 1985, he returned to Egypt to teach at Zagazig University
7) served as a Member of Parliament from 2000 to 2005
8) He has 5 children
