Academic Imperialism

Okay this is an addition to my earlier post: School Sucks. I argued about it like a little boy, check out this guy Claude Alvares who is an Indian national and he debates about academic Imperialism. Basically how easily people accept western or European education, without any hesitation or questions raised, people around the world accept it. I would add to his arguments that not only people in Asia are overpowered by western academic imperialism but is also by Europeans and Americans who are drowned by this academic Imperialism. Basically everyone, every human being no matter who they are or where they live should never ever, ever never approve or reject something that you have no knowledge about, however ridiculous it may sound, you still have to give it the benefit of the doubt. ALWAYS educate yourself, the worst thing can happen by doing that is that you will only be smarter and probably have a better common sense.. This highest point of ignorance is when you reject something you don't know anything about. Whether you reject or you approve is not the point, the point I am trying to make here is SHUT OFF YOU TV.. Peace..
